Winter Soldier/Falcon series reportedly in the works for Disney streaming service

There’s possibly a Winter Soldier and Falcon team-up series in the works from Disney

Marvel and Disney are currently developing a limited TV series based around a Winter Soldier and Falcon team-up, according to Variety.

Empire writer Malcolm Spellman has reportedly been tapped to write the series, which is set to premiere on Disney’s upcoming streaming service.

Currently, it’s unclear whether the series will be live-action or animated, but we expect MCU actors Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie to return to play the Winter Soldier and Falcon respectively either way.

If the reports are true, the series will be the second Disney has lined up based on characters from the MCU: there’s also a Scarlet Witch and Loki series in the works. The Disney streaming service is expected to launch late next year.

That’s pretty much all the information we have right now. Who knows if the series will actually happen (Disney and Marvel have both declined to comment), but it would be pretty exciting if they did.
